About Akroso Senior High/Tech
The School was established on 20th January 1992 as a result of the Government’s new Educational Policy. Its establishment was initiated by some prominent citizens of Akim Akroso notably the late Nana Afariwua IV, Lawrence Ampofo Bempong, Addae Bediako, D. S. K. Acquah, Nana Job Amoako, A. A. Bempong, Solomon Kwadwo Obeng and others. The school is situated on a 94-acre tract of land on the south eastern part of Akim Akroso in the Birim Central Municipality of the Eastern Region.
