About Jim Bourton Mem Agric. Senior High
The School, was established in 1979 by the Logba Youth Association and named Logba Agricultural Secondary School (LASEC). The school was absorbed into the Public system in January 1992. In October 1996 the school was renamed Jim Bourton Memorial Agricultural Secondary School in appreciation of the good work and sacrifices of the late Jim Bourton. The school attained a boarding status in 2008. To broaden the scope of learning and access, General Arts, Business Accounting, Visual Arts and Home Economics have been added to the initial Agricultural Programme run in the school. The school is located on the main Accra-Hohoe road. It is about 45 kilometers from Hohoe.
