About Mepe St. Kizito Senior High/Tech.
Mepe St. Kizito Senior High Technical School, formerly known as Mepe Technical Institute was founded in the year 1988 with the core mandate of providing technical training for students in the Mepe community and its environs. It is sited in Mepe, a fast growing fishing community with a population size of about 15,000 people. It is located close to the Volta Lake in the North Tongu District of the Volta Region of Ghana. The school took off with an initial enrolment of 24 students and 5 teachers and offered a purely technical programme which included building construction and woodwork. In the year 1994, the school was absorbed into the Public system and assumed the new name, Mepe St. Kizito Senior High Technical School.
