About Weta Senior High/Tech.
Weta Senior High School started as community Day School on 1st November 2010 under the supervision of F.K.J. Tsevia, then Ketu North District Director of education. Looking at his heavy schedule, he delegated G.K. Ganyo, then at District Education Office to organise the school. The student population as at 1st November, 2010 was 255, comprising 190 boys and 65 girls with a staff population of seven. On 1st September, 2011, Miss Margaret Abra Amehame was appointed as the first substantive Headmistress of the School, and on 18th April 2012, the school was formally absorbed into the Public school system.
