About Okuapeman Senior High
Okuapeman School was established in 1957 by the illustrious Scholar, Educationist, Barrister and Solicitor, Maxwell Kwaku Opoku Akyeampong to fill the void of a secondary school in the Akuapem State. Realizing that education is the key to personal and national development he decided in 1954 to establish a first-class school and having poured out his heart and substance into the creation of Okuapeman School the beacon of the Akuapem state, the good lord called him to eternity in 1958 at the tender age of 44. The government of Ghana took over the school in 1958 and absorbed it into the Public system adding on very essential infrastructure. The School motto is “Semper Primus” - Always First.
