About Tsito Senior High/Tech

Tsito Senior High Technical School was established in the year 1991 as part of the 1987 Educational Reforms. As one of such new schools, it was expected to help absorb the teeming number of prospective senior high school entrants with emphasis on Technical and Vocational Education. The school began as a pure Day-School but later metamorphosed into a boarding institution with the provision of girls’ dormitory block and a two semi-detached bungalow for house mothers by the Japanese Government via JICA. The boys who lived in hostel in Tsito town were later moved and housed in a partially completed PTA initiated 3-unit classroom block as dormitories. The early physical structures were put up through communal labour provided by the Tsito community on a 21-acre land donated by the Mordeku, Dakpey and Adesi families.
