A new education portal helps students make better senior high school choices
Dodoo Coding Club, a Ghanaian/German non-profit organisation, today announced the launch of its new education portal GhanaHighSchools.com.
The free website includes more than just individual profiles of all public senior high schools in Ghana. Junior High School students, their parents and teachers can also find up-to-date information about programmes, school facilities, and application requirements.
In addition, a career section enables students to select their dream job and learn more about the ideal academic or vocational pathway to reach it.
The launch of the GhanaHighSchools.com website comes on the back of intense content creation and programming efforts by the 30 JHS and SHS students of the Dodoo Coding Club in Pokuase.
These 9-18-year-old students have worked extremely hard over the last year to create a portal that will help their peers make more informed senior high school choices when they take their BECE. GhanaHighSchools.com is not just another education portal – it’s a quantum leap in providing valuable information to all Ghanaian students and parents.
